However, now with her ticket to Bollywood, we hear that the actress will be seen making her debut in filmmaker Anubhav Sinha’s upcoming flick, Zid.
Directed by Vivek Agnihotri, the film is believed to have recently gone on floors.
Confirming the above story, Vivek said, “Yes, I am doing Zid for Anubhav Sinha productions. The film will mark the debut of Barbie Handa, who will be paired opposite yet another debutante Karanvir Sharma and we have already started shooting for the film.”

Zid Synopsis:
‘Zid’ Movie looks like an old wind in a new bottle, but will probably for sure scorch the screen.
Starring Priyanka Chopra’s cousin Mannara in lead, the movie also stars Karanvir Sharma and Shraddha Das in parallel lead roles.
The story revolves around a crime reporter Rohan (played by Karanvir Sharma), who gets an opportunity to stay with a gorgeous pretty girl Maya (played by Mannara) in an outhouse for the duration of his ongoing assignment.

There’s an immediate attraction between the two, where they make love and paints the town red. Now as Maya decides to express her feelings about Rohan that she loves him, there’s a twist in the tale.
Rohan is not at all serious about Maya and was just having a passing physical affair with her, where he as well believes that she will surely understand this. However, the world of Maya crashes down when she catches the love of her life, Rohan, making love with one more girl (played by Shraddha Das). Although she is quite shattered with this, but she is very much obsessed with Rohan that she just cannot leave him.
Now what follows next forms the crux of the story!
