The show was developed by Bruno Heller and has a great casting, who includes Ben McKenzie, Donal Logue, David Mazouz, Zabryna Guevara, Robin Lord Taylor, Sean Pertwee, Erin Richards, Cory Michael Smith, Camren Bicondova, Jada Pinkett Smith, Andrew Stewart Jones, Victoria Cartagena and John Doman.

Produced by Scott White, the series was filmed in Manhattan, New York. Its executive producers are Danny Cannon, Ben Edlund, John Stephens and Bruno Heller. The script was edited by Daniel Gabbe, Mark C. Baldwin and David Ekstrom. Gotham follows the story of the Gotham City Police Department, where James Gordon, a new recruit, makes team with experienced Harvey Bullock in order to solve the hardest case of all: the death by murder of Martha and Thomas Wayne.

The couple’s only son, Bruce, is being taking care of by the family’s butler Alfred Pennyworth. The new recruit is being forced to enter the mafia’s businesses in order to solve the case, and his involvement and dedication become the basis of the Dark Knight’s evolution from Bruce the kid.
